Lennar Mastering Increased Home Sale Complexity With Sequent
Lennar, the one of the leading builders of quality homes for all generations, has started developing a new set
of luxury condominiums in the former Gallo salami factory—a San Francisco landmark. Used to working in the
single-family home market, the developer has decided to use Sequent Enterprise to better track and manage
this unusually complex undertaking.
San Francisco CA. May 15, 2004//- Turning an historic building structure into luxurious condominiums in the
heart of San Francisco takes a lot of coordination, as there are countless players involved. Bent on keeping up
its high quality standards, Lennar decided that for an unusually complex project, 200 Brannan, there was good
reason to utilize the most advanced technology to streamline the workflow and ensure the quality and pace of
work. The technology is called Sequent Enterprise, web-based transaction management software developed
specifically for multi-unit residential developments.
Sequent Enterprise, a product of Sequent Systems, is being used as the project’s transaction management tool,
connecting all the parties on a web-based platform. Sequent Enterprise allows Lennar to track the whole project
that includes new structures and renovations of a 1920s warehouse and the 1907 Gallo salami factory, from
beginning to close. The developer can extract discrete pieces of information or real-time reports throughout the
project. “San Francisco is a global hub for culture and entertainment, and 200 Brannan places you right in the
center of it. We are proud to be a part of this amazing development,” said David Lester, CEO, Sequent Systems.
The developer Lennar is one of the nation’s leading builders of quality homes for all generations. They lead the
charge in keeping up with the multifaceted needs of buyers, builders, marketers, and investors when building a
new development. This is particularly true when the project is as daunting as 200 Brannan: A luxury
development with 191 lavish condominiums, tastefully designed by MBH and Kwan Henmi architects. 200
Brannan has 24/7 door personnel, a concierge service, and a fitness gym, and is located just a small walk from
the Embarcadero, the Ferry Building, AT&T Park (the home of the Giants), South Beach harbor and marina, the
financial district, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), Yerba Buena Gardens, and the
Sequent Systems has been at the forefront of cloud based real-estate transaction management since
